As much as I love this movie, I'm more then happy with the "Petrol Can" version.

Now, if there's a SteelBook...

It was only a few weeks ago I bought my original copy. If I'd known about this I'd definitely waited but I won't be double dipping.

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BE A STEELBOOK

I hope companies don't start frequently re-releasing films as 2 disc editions.

The film could certainly use a new transfer, but no doubt just a repackage, Blu-ray+DVD or something.

Cant exactly see Lionsgate investing the time and money to create a whole new transfer for this film. Will most likely include a DVD Copy of the film or something like that.

Its the same release date as Grindhouse, perhaps the re-packaging is just a marketing ploy towards Tarantino fans to shift more copies.

I got my copy of the current release recently as well.

This is going to need many more extras or a new transfer to warrant a double-dip at Kalifire Towers.

I have been warning of this scenario for some-time.
