Default Heroes: The new box set to beat.

ok, you are thinking I'm trolling, but I'm not.

High def digest writes:

Find out why our Peter Bracke calls this week's most anticipated HD DVD release the new TV-on-HD box set to beat.
Look at his review
PQ 3.5/5
AQ 3/5
Supplements 3/5
Extras 4.5/5
Movie itself 3.5/5
Overall 4/5

Doesn't sound like it should be THAT difficult to beat!

Weeds Season 2 already beat it in PQ and AQ.

Lost will probably blow it away.

It's funny how I've watched some HD-DVD supporters suddenly downtalk Peter Brecke and High Def Digest in the wake of all these recent 3's and 3.5 scores (and even lower) that they've been giving out to HD-DVD releases.

I wouldn't buy myself Heroe's HDDVD with YOUR money.

These shows will be in High Def on something like A&EHD a million times down the line. And TV shows just aren't something I would want to watch OVER & OVER like a movie. I try and re-watch Soprano's on A&E and the espisodes I've seen I always get bored and change the channel.

I would however rent series of tv show's I've missed, that would be cool!

I didn't really like that show. In my opinion, Weeds a vastly superior show. I have not seen lost so i cannot comment on that but i am confused as to why they are releasing season 3 and not 1 and 2.

I'm so excited for Lost, already pre-orded.

Lost was broadcast in 720p it will be so great to re-watch the season in 1080p and Losseless audio.

Come on Disney give us season 1 + 2!!

I like Weeds, Lost, Heros, but none of them held a candle to "Dead Like Me".

It's a shame that Heroes was treated so badly for this release. I fully expect it to head to BD when Universal goes neutral but it doesn't make me feel confident in what the quality will be like.

Lost on the other hand, I have no doubt that Disney is going to treat that with respect.

What group is anticonsumer again?

The ones that are all mean and refuse to let you pirate their discs, or god forbid rip them all to a hard drive because you're too lazy to move your ass every 4 hours

Prison Break is also coming from 20th Century Fox.

(And hopefully from MGM, Stargate: Atlantis.)
