For years I always thought HBO was superior in terms of original programming Now it seems Showtime is Kicking HBOs ass. Fall 2012 went to Showtime as well, with a return to glory season of Dexter, and another good year from Homeland. Boardwalk Empire had a nice season, with some really amazing scenes from Gyp, but the season still had quite a bit of filler story wise.
Of course, March 31st starts Game of Thrones S3. Expecting nothing less than a 10/10 season like the first season was. Very curious about another season of Newsroom this summer. As I really enjoyed the first season. Olivia Munn really surprised me in it. And then in the fall again Boardwalk has its final season, as with Dexter (supposedly) Homeland comes back to in late September. But people that have both, How are House of Lies, Californication, and Shameless stacking up against Girls and Enlightened so far? Of course I didn't mention every single show on there. If you had to have one of the two right now for 2013. Hbo or Showtime? Last edited by COLD_COBRA_; 01-28-2013 at 12:07 AM. |
