According to hmv.com, it should be out on April 12th 2010 although Amazon.co.uk states a March 15th release date, maybe a limited exclusivity?

I see the virus of [not very] Special Editions™ is spreading and everyone's getting in on it

Not actually seen the film but I'll hold off for a sub £10 price tag. Far more important than crap frivolous 'collector' additions. If they put in a full size cinema poster (real value) then I might be interested.

Comments on the film would be appreciated.

Tried to watch this today -what a pile of crap. REALLY bad all round.

It's not dramatic, funny, ironic or even interesting. Best to watch the documentary that it's based on I think.

Gotta love that useless crap they add, ey?

Shame you didn't like the movie. I can't comment on it yet.

Its strange, this film is a real hit or miss with people. Me and the ex went to see it and loved it, Jeff Bridges and Kevin Spacey carried it in my opinion. However, her parents hated it.

I wouldnt say this is a must have. But when the special editions cheaper than the regular edition. In this case I find that to be true. Why not?

I liked it, but it has one big problem with it playing it too safe. It's really what should be a dark comedy, but it's fluffed up to much.

Still enjoyable, just forgettable. The only thing I remember from the movie is that the projection broke down twice and we all got free cinema tickets!

Isn't the movie about how desperate the US army is to spend tax payers money?

Or maybe it is about the army pushing individuals to believe that they are super human and therefore stupid enough to do whats asked of them!

I found my own way to relate to the story.

Hello (this is my first post here)

When buying this UK release you should be aware that it is NOT 1080p/24. It is 1080i/50.

As stated in this review
http://www.dvdactive.com/reviews/dvd...-at-goats.html

and in the comments of this review
http://www.avforums.com/movies/index...comments=10102

Seems to be overlooked by a lot of people though which could mean it does not matter much. I guess only a direct comparision of the US 1080p/24 and the UK 1080i/50 would tell.

Greatings

Ammus
