Default Most anticipated TV shows for 2016

Was wondering what everyone's most anticipated Tv shows for 2016 are. Here are my top 5:

Shadow hunters ( Freeform/Netflix for those outside US on Tuesdays/Wednesdays respectively) - Interesting take on The Mortal Instruments Series, I'm curious to see where it goes

Once Upon A Time Season 5B (Sunday nights at 9|8C. ABC/CTV, returns March 6)- Hercules & other greek mythology concepts and the return of Cruella among others, HECK YES!

Agents of Shield Season 3B (Tuesdays at 9|10c ABC/CTV, returns March 1) - I must say I like many others are very impressed with how SHIELD has turned out this season so far. They finally "Got it right" so to speak. Cannot wait for any Civil War connections..... !!!!!!!

Girl Meets World (Fridays at 930|830c Disney Channel) - Again, a very impressive show that has found its true footing. Gives Boy Meets World a run for its money even. This is what live action Disney channel shows should have been all along from the get go. Very inspiring and moving, even for those outside of its age demographic. Just as powerful for those in their 20s and older and it is for teens and tweens.

Sofia the First (Saturdays at 7|6c Disney Junior) - This past season has been fabulous and has become one of my all time favourite Tv shows. Very good magical concepts to rival even Harry Potter, dare I say. I'm liking the Library story arc, and am excited to (eventually) see Anna and Elsa hopefully show up. The lessons have also helped me get through a lot of things in my life as of recently and I hope that the show is as inspiring to others as it is for me.

Favorites back from winter break that I'll be watching: Arrow, The Big Bang Theory, Blue Bloods, Elementary, The Flash.

New seasons I'm anticipating: Legends of Tomorrow (big time!), Bates Motel (season three was a big step up from season two), Ripper Street and Orphan Black, since I'll have gotten all caught up with it on DVD by the time the new season starts. There's also season two of Ash vs. Evil Dead, but that's still a good nine months away. Definitely looking forward to it, though.

Dropping Criminal Minds and Sleepy Hollow, and possibly Gotham if it can't get better by the end of the season.

The return of Grimm and the X-Files miniseries are all that I am looking forward too. Gave up on Castle and Sleepy Hollow. I do look forward to Ash Vs Evil Dead when the BD hits stores.

I don't watch a lot of television, but I'm eagerly awaiting Game of Thrones (now we're in uncharted territory) and I may watch the X-Files whenever I have time.

Doctor Who Series 10 - I have a feeling this will be Moffat's last series; if so, it will be interesting to see what he does as his last hurrah. Add to that rumours of Peter Jackson directing an episode and Michelle Keegan as the new companion and it could be one of the show's very best series.

Agents of SHIELD Season 4- Whilst this hasn't been confirmed yet, I'll be shocked if it doesn't get a fourth season.

Humans Series 2- Humans has to be the best new sci-fi series in a while; I'm intrigued to see what happens next with Niska having the hard-drive with the information on how to spread emotions into Synths on.

The return of Supernatural and The Walking Dead from their winter breaks.

New seasons:

Black Sails
The X-Files
Daredevil
Better Call Saul
Game of Thrones
Ash vs. Evil Dead

There might be a few more I'm looking forward to, but I can't think of them right now. So many shows this year.

Jeez what about the rest of SHIELD's third season and its (very likely) Civil War connections

Looks like Jessica Jones: Season 2 will be in 2017 as Netflix announced premiere dates for new shows and it wasn't there.

Meanwhile, it looks like Daredevil: Season 2 has been moved up to March 18th. I couldn't see Netflix letting the March 25th date stick (as everyone will be seeing Batman v. Superman then).

Turning this discussion around, while you also list most anticipated, name the ones that you are dropping, either ones you've watched or were considering to watch and then decided not to and provide an explanation for both sections.

I've already dropped Flash and Gotham, mainly because I just do not like DC's overall style and elements (though Flash is an awesome show and I am proud of the potential and inspiration it has presented for superhero, let alone TV shows in general overall)

Not sure if all of these will air in 2016 but I am looking forward to the following:

Mister Robot s2
Game of Thrones s6
Fargo s3
Peaky Blinders s3
Black Mirror s3
Broad City s3
Narcos s2
The Get Down s1
Star Wars Rebels s3

Stopped watching:

All of the D.C. comics live-action television series. They are pretty terrible IMO. Just felt like I was watching one of CW's wanna-be soap operas.
