Spoilers in recommended section of reviews?

This is not meant as a complaint, but an actual curiosity. When I am going to purchase a title I haven't yet seen or at least don't recall, I will go to the review section of the title. I don't go there to read the entire review, but I will look at the scores they give the video and audio of the disc, AND I do go to the very bottom and read whether or not the reviewer recommends the movie or release.

I am quite sure I have read maybe 100 or more of these end sections, maybe way more, and I have never encountered anything I would really consider a spoiler. But today I was reading the one for Bad Times at the El Royale, and while I can't confirm its an actual spoiler since I have not yet seen the movie, it appeared to reveal something that could be a major spoiler for the ending of the movie.

Has anyone else ran into this situation? I would hate to have to stop reading them to keep from this happening again.
