3) or 5) - I would go for... Plasma is better for 3D.

I wouldn't pick any of those. Since the manufacturer doenst matter to you, you should go for LG, end of story, really. LG has the best line of flagship-model tv's at the moment.

LG 55LE8500
LG 55LX9500 (If you want 3D)

These model's use local-dimming LED which means their colors (deepest black on the market) and PQ are superior to most other tv's. LG's models are better even compared to other manufacturers tv's that use same techology. Just read the review's around the web about these, you won't be disappointed.

...And no, im not talking from a Fanboy point-of-view here.

What kind of problems, if you don't mind me asking? (Plasma or LCD?)

Plasma (3D TV's):
LG 60px950
Samsung pn63c8000
Panasonic 65pvt25
The only three I would think of getting.

But ultimately it's up to you the buyer, your eyes shall decide what TV you get.

So.. meh.
If you had a problem with a tv few years ago, dont make an assumption that everything manufacturer does is bad. Whatever it was, it was most likely something only in the model *you* owned and not in every unit sold. Every manufacturer have those units that have something broken, wrong etc in them, use your warranty and get a new one!

LG currently has the best tv's on the market (when we talk about flagship -series), give or take. If you dont like LG, that's fine.
Pick the one you like most.

I would probably go for the Sony one (hx909). I like the convenient of Bravia Sync on my receiver and ps3. Also, I never had any problems with Sony products.

I have had bad luck with Samsung stuff and so have my friends except my monitors. That un55c9000 is really tempting though.

I saw the panasonic oh it's ugly first off the bezel is cheap looking with seems where the plastic connect every company seems to use a unibody bezel then the cheap silver bezel at the bottom and the side buttons look like a it came off a cheap remote lol it looks like it came from the 80's the picture is slightly better then any tv out but it's by way not good enough to justify the ugliest part.

Yeah, I agree... but you didn't say that you cared how it looked in your original post. So why even have that TV as a option? lol.

Are you planning to wall mounting the TV or will you be using the stand that comes with the TV?

Both of these are slim TV's:
LG 60px950
Samsung pn63c8000

So they will look great on your wall, if you plan on wall mounting them that is. I'm still waiting for for a reply as what problems you've had with LG? And if it was a plasma or lcd?

What a darn minute here you said you owned a LG, and now you are saying it was your darn roommates TV. So you have never have had a problem with LG just your roommate has.

Just like what I posted on my second comment on this thread ''it's ultimately you the buyer, your eyes shall decide what to buy.'' But I recommend Plasma. And what's "I just like these set to each his own" are?

Does it matter who actually owned it he lived with me I used the tv every day since it was in our living room so it didn't cost me anything thT makes it better Lg knows if I own it they would make it a better set and I'm 100% that Lg is a great company and if I get a Lg most likely I won't have any problems

Doesn't surprise me considering you said you owned a LG when in fact it was your roommates TV.

What I meant was what TV in your options in your original post what do you like PQ & look wise? LCD-LED have motion blur and other issues. So that's why I'm recommending plasma. It's better for 3D. And what I said in the second post still stands ''But ultimately it's up to you the buyer, your eyes shall decide what TV you get''. But if your getting a LCD-LED I would get this http://www.cnet.com.au/sony-bravia-k...-339303819.htm

LG PX950 http://www.cnet.com.au/lg-50px950-339306357.htm
