I've abandoned Slipcovers for Steelbooks! - Blu-ray Forum

I havn't been interested in Steelbooks before but I just bought the Sleeping Beauty one, it was too beautiful to resist! I'm planning to collect just the Walt Disney Animation Studios films in Steelbooks at the moment, although I'm sure I'' end up collecting all sorts!

A good place to start for getting some of the older disney titles would be the Steelbook Trading Forum

JW just posted up a bunch of his extra disney ones last night actually on the last page of his thread.

The sleeping beauty one was my very first SB! Congratulations!!!

In my opinion, they are much better than a slip cover, but they get addictive and expensive!

I sorta did the opposite. After seeing how obsessed I became to get steelbooks (I went to Future Shop at 9am just to pick up the Monsters Inc. and Up steelbooks.... I NEVER wake up that early except for classes) I stopped after collecting about 17 of them. Now I'm more than happy with just amarays and if a movie happens to come with a slipcover it's a bonus (I won't go out of my way to get a slipcover).

I said I was only doing Disney too...now I have Kill Bill(s), Jackie Brown, Inception, Moulin Rouge, Romoe + Juliet, etc.
