Which is your favorite game out of the series? Mine would have to be Silent Hill 2. The whole atmosphere of the game was pretty fear inducing. Plus you got Red Pyramid running around the place. I also liked it because it had nothing to do with the Alessa storyline. I don't have a PS3 yet, so I haven't played Silent Hill Homecoming.

Silent Hill 2 for pretty much the same reasons. The game never got the same feeling again after 2.

Tough call. SH2 did have me wondering when Pyramid Head was going to pop out again. All in all, there's little things I liked differently about each installment.

Easily Silent Hill 2, its the only one I've truly been interested in from start to finish. Great characters, great music, great atmosphere. Silent Hill 3 was also good but wavered a bit

I'm interested in Shattered Memories but I don't have PS2, PSP or a Wii although I did own all of them at one stage :P I hate it when that happens!

The first Silent Hill is still my favorite, though #3 would be a very close second.

I think they crashed to a short series and together to make this game if this game had been a part of SH 1 and SH was Part 2 of this series was fantastic.

Yeah pretty much.

I had trouble playing it during the day! I it saw as a real accomplishment finishing it.

Dead Space came close to the frightening experience SH2 gave me.

I really like Silent Hill 1. The game's atmosphere was just tense, and I really like the set-up of the game and how the story unfolded. Silent Hill 2 is very close behind and was an amazing game (I love both 1 and 2). 3 was good, but way too short, and 4 was hit or miss (I like the premise of 4, but the backtracking in the second half of the game made it a bit repetitive). Haven't played Origins or Homecoming, but I understand that they were nothing amazing. However, I have heard Shattered Memories is decent.
