Could it be that some 50% of the already released BDs at Amazon UK are not available any more ... ?
Three days ago I wanted to order (at Amazon UK) five BDs I found HERE in the index of BDs, namely "Coming To America", "The Queen", "300", "Starship Troopers" and "Stargate". All apearantly already released. Guess what? FOUR of those five are only available USED!!! I checked a couple more title and found about every second title not in stock any more (only used). What's the matter? Did they only produce a couple each? Does this mean one has to buy a newly released BD within just a weeks or it's out of print? This really sucks. I'd love to order from the US, but, alas, the region code ... ![]() |

Amazon is probably just sold out, which could be good news.

Ok ... now this really sucks ...
Again on Amazon UK : "Kill Bill" Vol 1 & 2 both scheduled to be released in Sept 3rd ... I didn't preorder those yesterday because I had other things to do ... now today is the 3rd, at noon I went there to order and what do I read? "Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock. " Seems I was right ... they produce 10 copies of each BD ... this sucks BIG TIME! ![]() ![]() ![]() Well, at least "300" is scheduled for a re-release in Oct ... ![]() |

Several titles first only announced for Europe have been available to the US-market shortly after their European announcements (Lives of others, Oldboy, Black book and The Rock and Con Air have been talked to be released early 2008). My guess is that we soon will se an announcement for the Crow in the states also. Disney just want to make sure the re-master lives up to the standards first. |
