Please update this to db. Also i've noticed , lots of movies has not been updated to db recently. Just take a look at Hollywood titles, they are efficient in updating and revealing details. I just dont understand why can't we make Indian film better for the world's eye.

picked up my copy along with paiyya.

about 45 mins in..

the quality is nothing short of excellent.

The pressure is surely on for Enthiran - I am sure we are in good hands with Sunny Audit.

VTV and Ravaanan are keenly awaited by me.

guys one thing though i did notice. All the new ayngaran dvds have a sticker on them saying also availabe in blu ray.

The titles i saw them on are
Ravanaaan
Madraspattinam
Sura
Singam
Kalaivani.

Singam and Ravaanan i know are coming soon.

Can anyone confirm the other titles ?

I don't know why Ayngaran wants to release movies like Sura and Kalaivani. Sura was a mega flop. But Madraspattinam is an awesome movie. Why don't they release Gautam Menon movies ??

I doubt ayngaran will release ghajini. They never released the dvd. VGP released the dvd

Again Ayngaran and Sunny have proved time and again quality is the key and they will not compromise or cut corners. Excellent picture and audio quality. The bass is tight, surround soundstage is spectacular and the dialogues are crisp and clear. This movie was the closest competitor for the Indian submissions for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film but it lost to Peepli Live. It is a critically acclaimed movie that did very well in the box office.

I did not see any signs of EE, DNR (plaguing Indian BDs big time), aliasing or macroblocking. I did notice tiny flecks pop up here and there, nevertheless this BD boasts a strong 1080p transfer and comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
