Default Video Download vs Amazon Purchase

I was reading another thread and not to or anything, I wanted to post another thread about this issue.

A lot of people are pushing that the future is downloadable content, including HD movies. I personally don't see it as a feasible option. The files are too big, you have to store it, something could happen and you lose the file permanently.

So, I have been thinking. What is so different from downloading vs buying? I have Amazon prime. I can get my movies tomorrow for only 3.99 or in some instances, only 1.99 plus the cost of the movie. No downloading necessary and no taxes. It shows up at my door, hard copy, cover art, ready to play!

So, a turn around time of only 1 day. Is that really, that bad?

I will make this a poll just to see what people think.
