am i the only one who cant wait for this to be released...im not an avid gamer nor do i ever buy games on the first day but this one i will be picking up day 1. the last couple of nfs games have been awful...the last one i enjoyed was carbon but after playing just the demo (over and over) i think they have finally got something

I'm also considering this as my intermediate fix until Dirt 3 is released.

I used to be a huge NFS fan, and this would have been a day 1 for me, but I have completely lost faith in this franchise. I would wait for every new NFS title with baited breath... Now, when I hear of a new NFS game, I literally laugh and think to myself Haven't they beaten this dead horse enough already?. The last great one was Most Wanted. Since then, they have steadily & dramatically gone down the toilet with each passing game. The only semi-playable title this generation was IMHO, Pro Street (taken for what it was as it was far removed from the general gameplay of other NFS games). Even Shift, which garnered some fans, was treading way out of it's league.

The only racers I'm looking forward to at this point are Test Drive Unlimited 2 & Gran Turismo 5. They're probably my two most anticipated games period (outside of maybe Dragon Age II).

well i was all set to pick this up today until i read theres no upgrade garage...thats half the reason i play nfs at all...
