Awesome lineup - Blu-ray Forum

Though I truely hate going to the movies; I did go see War tonight with the GF because she'd been bugging me about that movie all week.

Anyway, we were presented with a dozen or so previews and wow, judging by these previews, these movies will kick ass. I make it a point to especially pay attention to the studio, and one after the other was a Blu-Ray backing studio. I forgot the movie titles, but LionsGate especially has a lot of movies coming out. I think we're going to see an awesome fall BD lineup!

I have noticed myself looking at movie trailors and paying more attention to which studio produces it.

Yeah ive always been Studio obsessed...Lionsgate had an awesome year i think 3 years ago when all these good indie movies came out and a few big ones, they have sorta slowed down a bit in what good stuff they put out though, but agreed they have some good ones coming soon.

What did you think of War? I liked it halfway through and then the ending just.... well it sucked.

not sure what to think of War. The GF was expecting some major marial arts, but as you know that was not the case. The story has some holes ... and the ending ... well, without spoiling it for others ... was indeed below expectation.

I saw Death Sentence yesterday. I thought it was pretty good, also violent and gory of course. It's been a while since I've watched a "revenge" movie, well other than Revenge on Blu of course, but I thought the movie was pretty effective if the above mentioned elements are your thing.
