The Blu-ray Community Top 20 Video Games of All Time (Please Read First Post)

Ok so we have been doin this contest with movies in the movie forum for those that dont know. I figured we could do this for video games also. Post your top 20 video games of all time. Make your list based on what u feel are the best/favorite or a combination of both or whatever video games u feel should make your top 20 list of all time. Its all up to u!

How does it work? It's easy. You come up with a list of what you think are the Top 20 Video Games of all time. Based on how they place on your list, the game will receive a certain amount of points. The Top 15 video games on your list will be scored accordingly:



1. 15 Points
2. 14 Points
3. 13 Points
4. 12 Points
5. 11 Points
6. 10 Points
....
12. 4 Points
13. 3 Points
14. 2 Points
15. 1 Point

Every video game placed after the 15th spot will also receive 1 point. So essentially, you only have to rank the Top 15 while putting the remaining 5 in no particular order.

RULES
1. You may base your list on best/favorites video games or however it works for you. To me best/favorites go hand in hand for the most part. It doesn't matter how bad the game may be perceived by everyone else this is your opinion only so dont be afraid to list what you feel you want to list!

2. FRANCHISES or SERIES DO NOT COUNT AS ONE. It was quite aggravating in one of the other threads to see somebody's number 1 film of all time be: The Original Star Trilogy or The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. These are 3 films, not 1. So if you put the "Madden Franchise" as your number one Video Game of all time, I won't count your list. Simple as that!

3. Do NOT put multiple video games at the same ranking. Don't put 3 video games at the number one spot then start the list at 4 following it. Put only ONE game at each rank, or I won't count your list.

4. Since this is for fun and discussing games should be fun, be respectful of each other. If somebody has a game you think sucks at number 1, who cares? The point of the thread is to find out what the community as a whole thinks is the top video game.

5. Be very clear and list the full title of the game so that people arent confused. For example if u list Madden, make sure u also put the year. Or if u list a game that is in a franchise make sure u are clear on which one it is.

7. Deadline: November 11th, 2010 12am Pacific time. That is plenty of time for everyone to post a list. I wont take any lists after this. So make sure you get it in before then.
