What, No Birthday Thread?
After coming home from work, I expected to find everybody wishing the PS3 a happy birthday. The North American PS3 came out 4 years ago today. Did everybody forget or did I just not look hard enough for the thread?
I still remember launch day. I was working at Walmart at the time, had just been promoted to department manager of electronics (Nov. 17th was my first day on the job), and we only had 13 PS3's to sell. One unlucky person was declined at the register and so the 14th person in line was able to purchase his launch system. I ended up getting mine a month later but it's still alive and kicking. It's been through about 5 YLoD's but she's holding strong. Happy Birthday PS3!
