Replacing PS3 Slim Blu-ray Drive? - Blu-ray Forum

Is the BD player fairly easy to replace on a slim PS3? My son placed a second disc in the PS3 when there was one in there already. He was able to get the second disc out, but the first one will not come out. I need to look when I get home.

Is it easy to get the first disc out of the BD player?

How much and where can I get another drive if its is the drive? I can just about bust him up right now......ARGH!!!!!!

Any help/recommendations would be great.

Is it under warranty? Sony need not know about the second disc issue.

We bought the PS3 in Feb 11, so it should still be under warranty.

Call Sony and tell them your issue. Don't tell them about the second disc though.
