Technically, China, Russia and India are all Region C.
But these 3 markets are completely isoleted to each other, culture, language, nothing in common. I never found a Region C Indian disc or Russian disc in Mainland China or Hong Kong. China-Region C, however, has a lot of common with Hong Kong-Region A. Politically, Hong Kong is not a country but part of China (Special adminstration zone). The movies, the culture are common. Chinese films always get released in these 2 markets. Hong Kong has shops selling Region C discs too. And many Hong Kongers order discs from mainland China for a better price. I would suggest to re-organize this part. Last edited by FeiLong; 11-14-2010 at 08:56 AM. |
