Default What's different in the newly released version of Beauty & the Beast?

I mean in terms of what animation was re-done. I know that when it was released seven years ago for the platinum edition, some animation was "cleaned up" or improved since it was showing on Imax.

The current release of Beauty on BD uses the cleaned up version from 7 years prior as opposed to the original VHS/theatrical debut version. Is there a site that has screen shots to compare the old/original vs. the better new one? This is the only Disney film I know that had animators go back and make improvements (aside from tiny changes in TLM).

btw I really enjoy how seamless the newish musical segment is. I really wish Disney had done the same (or something similar- like a new scene) for subsequent platinum releases. Getting the original animators again to make a new segment is so cool!

Well you haven't really explained what you want to see different, because you appear to know everything already, such as it was cleaned up for the 2002 DVD and that it included the Human Again song; the only new animation was for Human Again so it'd work into the original cut.

So is it any wonder no one's given a reply to your question, when we don't really know what you want answered.
