New receiver for room size 12x24x12x24 ?? - Blu-ray Forum

I'm way do for a new receiver and would like to know what would be best for my room size. I have a PS3, connected to a Yamaha from 1998. I also have JBL's for center and rear speakers and old school Pioneers for the fronts, which handle 150 watts. Also do these new receivers enhance picture quality??, I have a 55inch Sammy LCD.

How much are you willing to spend I mean you can get a Denon receiver for $ 450 a Rotel receiver for about $ 2,300 or this Arcam receiver for $ 3,500.

I personally want the Arcam receiver but don't have the money, damn!

I was looking at this receiver, plus the 820, and I think 1020 ?? The Guy at BB was trying to get me to buy a Denon or new Yamaha.

Not sure what to buy, i'd like to be around $550 if possible

Denon's nice too. They have Audyssey, and they sound smooth.
