Default Caught one in action!!

Alright so I'm posting this thread up because I'm just too excited not to,

Just came back from my local Best Buy and was looking through their blu-ray section when I noticed someone also looking (the section is divided
Blu-ray/HD-DVD) and seemed confused. He asked me if I knew what was the difference between both formats and which is better? I told him to stick to Blu-ray because of the studio support, movie selection, more selection of players, etc.

Long story short, a few minutes later I see him and another customer each holding a Sony $499 player in their hands looking through the movie selection.....all I though to myself was, "my work here is done!"

I picked up a few blu-ray movies myself and left

Nice job...I can't tell you how many times people ask me while I'm standing there trying to decide which BD to get that day.

Fight the ignorance.

that is awesome. maybe we should be assigned posts based on our location? go hang out at our assigned stores and wait for fence sitters so we can take them under our wings and help em out we could make blu-ray shirts and walk into best buy and introduce ourselves as blu-ray representatives that are there to help customers with any questions. ummm..yeah....

OMG! OMFG! Dude!

same thing happened to me one week ago!!!!!!!

I was standing around, and some Man came over to me and asked me if i would know something about the new HD format things...

I told him Yes, and said he should choose Blu-ray because.... etc.

anyway.... he went outside ( i thought, great explanation for nothing ^^ )

but then he came back with 5 other guys, and each one of them bought a Blu-ray Player / PS3, and maybe 20 Blu-ray movies together!!

Damn! that was awesome

I like that idea. I've kinda been doin that without trying, just wasting so much time deciding which movie I'm in the mood to watch/buy.

But we should stay in plain clothes and be under cover Blu-raygents!

when it comes to B&M stores, as soon as you walk in there you already know more than the employees. this is based on my own personal experiences.

Lol, that seems a little far fetched? :P

However, I think everyone that does what they do in this thread is great! Way to keep Blu on top.

@Blu-ray San

You, sir/ma'am/other, are a hero. You should get a cut from the store for the sale.

I just can't see myself buying a high def movie at BestBuy. Only one I bought was X-Men cause it was on sale for around $15.

I've informed many J6Ps as well to the point that they're now Blu-ray owners. It feels good doesn't it?

This is just great. I think that the amount of Blu-Ray consumers has increased at a much faster rate over the last three months. I can really notice the effects it is having. It will still take even more to finally win.

Haha.

"Hey, George, we're all going to wait outside. Come let us know when you find out which High Definition format we should all buy."

I go to my local best buy in Indiana at least twice a week to check out the blu selection and to see what i want to buy( i get at least one movie each time i go) and i cant count how many times people ask me about bluray and if it is really worth the money. I feel great each time i head home knowing that i just swung another person towards the blu...
