When I turn my PS3 on I have it set to automatically log in to my account. After the system is on for a few minutes, I get an error message and get disconnected. This just started happening. Anyone else have this happening? Any ideas on how to fix it? Next time I turn my system on,I'll write down the error message and post it.

A similar thing happened to me with the last PS update. Every time I tried to install it, after about 5 minutes, I'd get a connection error message. Resetting my router/modem (unplugging it for a few seconds) fixed the problem right away. In fact my IP told me, if you use the internet very much, like I do, it's probably a good idea to reset your router and modem about once per week. Apparently there is some sort of residual memory that gets stored up and needs to be cleared periodically, like your cache on your computer.

It seems like whenever I set the PS3 to find shared media on any of the PCs on our network the entire network goes down. This only happens when the PS3 has the "Allow Media Sharing" option selected. Every PC and VOIP phone loses connection until I manually reboot the router and modem. No idea why this happens but Googling it shows it's a pretty common problem however there's really no solid solution.
