UK Night Watch/Day Watch BD Set - Blu-ray Forum

A friend of mine wants specific confirmation of the region status of the UK Nightwatch/Daywatch bd set. See on here it says region free, but he found an auction in which the owner strictly says that all their bds are region b and pal.

Can anyone put my friend at ease? a picture of the back would help too.

Hopefully someone can help you out here.

The only info I can offer, is that I have the Japanese boxset, which for all intensive purposes, are the UK discs,(multiple European languages on there as well), and instead of being Region A,(Japan are Region A as well), they're completely region free.

I have the UK double-pack and both movies are region free. Video is the same as on the US discs, but for some reason the audio is in TrueHD instead of DTS-HD MA.

Yeah, my discs are TrueHD as well.
One set for the US and another for the rest of the world, it would seem.
