some blu ray titles i picked up - Blu-ray Forum

just got at hmv:

1.weeds season 2 (big fan of this show)
2.36th chambers of shaolin (so mad i didnt realise it was in 1080i)
3. rambo blu ray box set (only $39.99)
4.Jona Hex
5. pineapple express

can anyone tell me what PQ on each of these titles are like?
also geting the Rocky blu ray set is that set worth geting?

just thought id share with you guys what i got, excited, never bought that many blu ray before in one day. lol

Rambo, Johan Hex and PE all look amazing on BD.. Rocky is worth getting, it has never looked better.. everything on BD is worth getting

Just to warn you, Jonah Hex is a horrible film and the and PQ/AQ is not what you would expect of a new release.

The only movies I have based on your list is the Rambo Box Set. I think you'll be satisfied with the transfer.

You listed reasons/excuses for buying the first 3 titles on your list, but you failed to give an excuse for why anyone in their right mind would buy Jonah Hex!!

I'm a big fan as well. They had them on Sale at Best Buy on cyber monday. But I have been re-watching them on Netflix.

4.Jona Hex - Good PQ/AQ but absolutely horrible movie. Pure trash.

5. pineapple express - Good PQ/AQ, many people love this movie but I hated it really hard.

Weeds looks amazing on blu ray and i only own first blood of the rambo series which looks good not great for an older movie

I'm pretty sure I'm in my right mind and I liked Jonah Hex.

you just got these titles and are asking for the picture quality!?
i would understand this question before a purchase, but you already got
them! how about putting them in the player and testing the quality yourself!?
