Since this may not be considered a major Disney release so does anyone think that there is a chance that we will see a $8-$10 coupon for this movie. I would like to pick it up it will be god to have for when the cousins come over for thanksgiving and Christmas.

"They" isn't Disney, just so you know--
An independent production company has been pumping out the direct-video Air Bud sequels and Buddies spinoffs, and now (like the proverbial kid burping at the table) think they have a cottage industry ever since "Santa Buddies" sold well last year....And there's no one more particularly difficult to stop than a cheap kiddie-indie producer that thinks they had their one mainstream hit.
Disney just owns the franchise name.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I LOVED this movie. Watched it with my boys today. The Santa Buddies drove me nuts so I was expecting to hate this, but it is actually VERY heart warming and had some really good laughs.

You'll be surprised too. Enjoy!

It does not matter who they are, what matter's is that people buy them, if they buy them, they will make them. It's like the disaster, epic, dance, pirate.....so called spoofs. They are made cheap, with sub-par actors, cheap CGI and people go see them, they make money out of them and produce another one. It's supply and demand. As long as people buy them, they will be produced and release them. It's like reality TV, as long as people keep watching it, they will will make them.

For ten bucks (after using DMR coupon) this really isn't so bad. Significant other and granddaughter got an afternoon out of it, and...wait for it...NO Will Ferrell as an imbecile ELF! There. I said it.
