hey , i wanted to ask if the "GLADIATOR" blu-ray of BHV is the remastered version or the the first batch ???? its for rs~1999 , so i wanted to confirm before the purchase , so if any1 who has it , please help me out !!!

Its the first batch. It was released simultaneously with the overseas release. but was never called back and replaced like the overseas blu rays. You should get it from Amazon

Get 'Casino Royale'. The BHV blu-ray of 'Gladiator' is a "flawed" disc and a total rip off at Rs. 1999/- (or even Rs. 1699/-)

Thanks for all the info but I am not sure you understand what gurkirat is talking about. Check out the gladiator threads in the other forums and you will understand that the first batch of blu rays of the gladiator release ( which is the same Anniversary edition u r talking about) was a flawed release. It was later recalled and replaced in other parts of the world but not by BHV

If it is indeed the 10th anniversary edition, then it is definitely a remastered version. Germany has a remastered 10th anniversary edition too.

BHV didn't recalled the earlier release but seems like BHV released the Remastered version as well. You can see two different Gladiator Cover arts in Stands with one exactly same as the Remastered version with 10th Anniversary and another one with older cover art.

Judging by the Indian BHV cover, I am sure this is the remastered version. Check out the German 10th anniversary edition on amazon.de. It is the same cover.
