Default Anyone play FEAR 3?

Saturday I went to Gamestop and they had it for 17 bucks (16 because I have the card) and it actually a very good game. I bought the first 1 and rented the 2nd. The only thing is that it is not as scary, the gameplay though is awesome and addictive. Anyone else play this?

It was fun.
I liked the multiplayer stuff especially Fu**'n Run and the zombie type game where you and your friends fight ongoing waves and in between waves you have to run outside and grab weapon crates and board up the building.
You're right though not that scary if at all.

Do you need a online pass to play online?

Yes online pass for Fu**'n Run but not the other. The other thing is I don't know how many people are still doing those online portions.

I didn't like 3 nearly as much as the first two but I play the single player campaigns mostly.

I actually really enjoyed this one. The story was somewhat muddled, but still interesting and the gameplay was fast and satisfying. I'm thinking about buying another copy since I gave the first to my brother.

Dig your avatar by the way, Jockey.

I played through the game 3 times. I rather enjoyed it. I pre-ordered F.e.a.r. 3 and got F.e.a.r. 2 for free. I'm trying to run through the F.e.a.r to see how the story was set-up. It really looks old.

If anyone's interested, F3AR may be on 'clearance' at your local Target. Mine had only one copy left (of course, the security device left a nice dent in the package, so I passed). It may be a YMMV situation, in terms of pricing and availability.

I'm a fan of the FEAR games and picked this one up on launch day. Not as good as the first 2 IMO, but sill a great game . I still have to get back to it and finish the challenges as I think I'm only a few trophies away from a Platinum.

I finally picked it up and am playing it now (single player). I must say I'm really enjoying it and can't understand all the bad reviews. I love the reward/point system for leveling up to. It isn't tedious, and quite fun. Not like trophy whxxxng.

Enjoyed the game personally, tho' I thought the story was a bit muddled as was mentioned before versus the second game. I've yet to go back and finish up on the co-op/online related trophies to get the plat for this game, but last time I was in there my brother and I were getting our butts handed to us in the survivor-type missions (forget the exact names of the missions) so I just moved on to another game

I should probably look into going back some point, but gotta get Borderlands: GoTY out of the way before I do that

When the game developers make a game that, the other players can cheat the game to make everyone die on the server, id re-consider playing it again
