My Top 5 Best Action Scenes of 2010

Hey there!

2010 might have not been the best year for movies, but there was a couple of great action flicks out there that gave us some incredible action scenes. I've decided to do my personal top 5 action scene from movies released in 2010. This is my top 5 so your opinions might differs from mine but still, if some of you wanna give it a try, lets go it will be fun to see what people will choose!

Spoiler Alert!! If you never saw any of these movies, skip the scenes since that might spoil it for you

5. The Expendables (The airplane scene) I must admit that the movie itself wasn't really good but still, this scene was brutal and deserved to be there!

4. The Pacific (Peleliu Landing Scene) This might not be a movie but I think this needed to be there. Truly amazing scene

3. The Town (Bank Robbery Scene) Great car chase with a lot of gunfights. Made me think of "Heat" a little bit.

2. Inception (Rotating Hallway Scene) I really hesitated between this one and my actual no. 1 scene but I had to choose. Amazing and unique scene

1. Kickass (Hit Girl Rescue Scene) This is the most badass action scene I've seen this year... the trailer sucked so much I had no expectations when I saw this movie but WOW... this scene only worth the price of the ticket but the whole movie is amazing.

1. Kickass (Hit Girl Rescue Scene) This is the most badass action scene I've seen this year... the trailer sucked so much I had no expectations when I saw this movie but WOW... this scene only worth the price of the ticket but the whole movie is amazing.

Naw man I thought all of those scenes were great man. Kick-Ass also had some great action scenes. Got Em!!

No particular order


1 Clash of the Titans. Massive Krakken creature battle at the end. Beautiful graphics, and a sonic delight/

2 Tron: I'll blanket most action sequences in this one. If the Action wasn't terrorizing the Subs, Daft Punk was. Intro into the gaming arena was very pleasing on the ears also.

3 Inception. Final half hour timed with the slow falling vehicle off the bridge. Nice tension.

4 How To Train Your Dragon: The Final Dragon Battle. Holy Hell. I Loved seeing the final Dragons silhouette cast through the clouds as it was climbing sky high chasing Hiccup and Toothless. It was just artistically beautiful. A surprising tittle for me. Have much respect for it.

5 Expendables Yep I do have to rate the "Airplane" scene as very memorable

Yea man whether u like the film or not, this thread is about the top action scenes and that final battle in Eclipse is epic believe me. Let me know if u watch it. Got Em!!

The Inception hallway fight literally made my jaw drop naturally, that's one of my favourite action scenes in general.

Actually, I can think of one action scene from 2010 that rivals that of the Hit Girl scenes: Final knife-fight scene in The Man From Nowhere. Hollywood, learn from this (if you can ever get out of your crappy PG-13 action funk).

The opening scene of Machete is also pretty awesome, though something tends to distract me from the action...

Agreed!

I think The Big Daddy warehouse scene although shorter, was much much better.
I would give it #1 of the year.

Oh yeah, and Twilights final battle was super awesome too.
