I really don't understand why this isn't out yet. It's only 7 years old and WB has been really good about getting their more recent catalog titles out on Blu. The stars of the film (Nic Cage, Sam Rockwell, Alison Lohman) and the director (Ridley Scott) have all had several movies released recently to cross-promote with.

Who else loves this movie?

This is an excellent movie and one that I always seem to forget about when I am thinking of Ridley Scott's movies. This would be a definite buy for me. IMO it's Nicolas Cage's best movie.

Yeah, I really want to buy this in blu-ray. I'm a big Sam Rockwell fan, and this is definitely one of Nic Cage's better performances. Plus, the girl is freakin' adorable.

Not even a peep.

I was tired of waiting for the blu-ray, so when I saw the old snapcase DVD at Big Lots for only $3 a couple of months ago I had to give in and buy it.

It's absolutely insane that this isn't on blu-ray! SO let me get this straight WB. THE WICKER MAN gets a blu-ray release but not MATCHSTICK MEN? Sounds perfectly logical to me!!!!!!

I completely forgot about this movie. It was so awesome hey I had this on DVD, so did my mom she loves Nicolas Cage I have to check with her to see if maybe she still has her copy cuz I am pretty sure I sold mine.

I'm actually surprised that this movie hasn't been released yet, this is a great Ridley Scott movie. Count me in for this one whenever it gets released.

I agree. I would love to have this on Blu-ray. I'm surprised it hasn't come out yet. While not a huge hit, it is a Ridley Scott film.

One of my favorite movies, and it gets better every time I see it. It's my favorite Scott film, and my favorite Nic Cage performance. Plus, Allison Lohman is excellent, as is Sam Rockwell. I'd love to have this on Blu.

The HD version exists. Amazon has it available to stream and if it's on there, I wouldn't be surprised to see it pop up in HD elsewhere too. It could stay like that for a while longer, and even though it's not blu-ray, it's better that than no HD version at all.
