Ok, here's the deal.
I watch my blu rays by connecting my laptop to my full hd sony bravia KDL 40E4000 with hdmi. This tv is only 60hz, so I'm guessing this is the reason im getting a lot of motion judder, some flickering can be seen in some movies as well. Now, my question is this. It says that my tv supports a 24p signal, so would this mean, if I set my laptop to send a 1080p/24 signal, would this eliminate some of the motion judder? I really enjoy watching blu rays, the picture and sound is amazing, but the judder is driving me insane and completely takes me out of the experiance. The judder for some reason isn't that noticable when watching sd dvds. Hopefully someone can awnser my question and help me, otherwise I'll just have to postphone enjoying blu rays till I can afford a new hdtv, which is a lonnnnnnnnnnnnggggggg way to go. Thanks. |
