It is definitely a popular phone. I went with it because Blackberry just isn't keeping up with Apple and Android. It's a shame because I really love Blackberry.

Go mess with the Droid X if you haven't already. If the Apple iPhone is something you crave then wait a few more months. Who know when it will come to Verizon, but it's only a matter of time now.

Wait until the end of the year and see if they announce an iPhone 4, between the two it's a much better phone, Verizon's network will make it even better I'm sure.

Ya..a friend of mine has an iPhone4 and they are similar in many ways, but does the iPhone feel like a baby when it's in my hands lol. It's so small compared to the X.

Arathorn- The iPhone coming to the Verizon network will destroy AT&T...

That's certainly up for debate. It all depends on what you value in a smartphone. How much have you used a Droid X?

I have a Droid X and my wife has an iPhone 4 and for my needs, I strongly prefer the X.

I got mine from Verizon, but I think it should be fine if you get it from a legit third party, like Dell.

I posted in the Android thread, but I just got the Droid X a few days ago and I have to say I am in love with it. I did have to do away with the crummy Blur software and put the Fission ROM on it, but it runs a million times better now and I don't have any of the BS bloatware on it. I was a bit concerned about the size of the phone in my pocket, but honestly I don't notice it anymore than I did my Nexus One, which now feels almost tiny in my hand.

I can't see how the iPhone would be a "much better" phone, but to each their own. iPhone has been stale for about a year now.
