Default Indonesia is BLU!!!

I did my research today in a shopping centre in Jakarta. I was so shocked (after a week of staying home). Why?
In a shop that sells import HD discs from USA, the blu-ray section is greatly expanded, while there are only 4 HD DVD movies (reduced from the last time I saw the shop).
I tried to pretend that I don't know anything about HD wars, asking the shopkeeper which one is the best. He answered immediately "BLU-RAY"

Even more shocking, I discovered this in other shop, and Blu-ray has legitimately entered Indonesian market. (HD DVD is not)
I believe there are two local distributor here. And the one that already releasing BD is PT Duta Mitra (and it's EXCLUSIVE to BD as of now). No legitimate (I mean the one that has gone through the Indonesian Rating board) HD DVD has entered Indonesia.
The other distributor has not gone in any direction. (and they hold distribution right to DISNEY - please be quick and go BD )

Anyway, saw a copy of MI:III today. In case you want it and can't get hold of it, there is one here.

Sony now sells Blu-ray discs officially here in Asia (aside from officially releasing the BDP-S1E player here)

It's a synchronized release (along with Malaysia and other Asian teritorries) but so far, all Blu-ray discs officially sold are from SPHE.

But still, no sign from HD-DVD either :P

So Blu-ray has the upperhand in the region.

P.S. I can't wait to preview Casino Royale 007
