Great news! As long as the prices come down a lot. Seems to be a little out of my price range at the moment.

I'm sure it will. Remember, too, that Amazon has a pre-order price guarantee, so you'll get the lowest price between the time you pre-order and the end of the release day.

Are these worth blind buying, I remember watching the first episode and really enjoying it but the pacing didn't feel appropriate to catch week after week, it was a little too slow to follow for ten weeks if you know what I mean.

From what I remember it does improve. Still a little slow in places though.
I enjoyed it overall.

I don't know if you claimed the Netflix free trial you mentioned in another thread.
The Returned is on there, as is the US version.

Has anyone even seen Season 2 yet? I can't wait for this, Season 1 was great. The atmosphere, Mogwai score, and cinematography are fantastic.

I've been on such a cliffhanger since season 1!! Don't know if I can wait for a US announcement. I'll price track S2 for the UK, I know it will come lower.

Yes, I've seen season 2.
It's absolutely brilliant...as good as season 1.
Incredibly creepy atmosphere, fantastic cinematography & very strong performances.

The Sundance Channel did not originally, but apparently, they rebranded themselves as SundanceTV in 2014, and as part of that change, they now censor programming.

So while the first season may have aired uncut in 2013, the second season would almost certainly feature censorship, unless all of the objectionable content is violence and gore.

Thanks. I got halfway through the premiere and I noticed the episode is rated TV-14, the same as a network show. I checked the upcoming listings and they all got that rating as well. I did some research and found they weer censoring movies now but I also heard they let some things go. I thought The Returned might be one of them but the TV-14 rating can't possibly allow nudity.

Eventually it will end up on Netflix or maybe I get the UK blu-ray, either way im not watching a chopped up show. Also where they put commercials.....oh boy.
