Arrow Sausage Party (Seth Rogen/Evan Goldburg R-Rated Pixar Spoof)

Source: JoBlo

Quote:
What's Seth Rogen up to after getting skinny for THE GREEN HORNET? Well, he's got about a million upcoming projects as usual, but one I haven't heard anything about until now is called SAUSAGE PARTY, which he and his cohort Evan Goldberg recently discussed with a few sites.

Speaking to ScreenRant, Rogen gives up a bit of info "It’s a Rated-R, super dirty, mockery of a Pixar movie about sausages in a supermarket that need to get back to their aisle before the fourth of July." Goldberg elaborates for Cinema Blend "It’s about sausages, hot dogs, and they’re whole goal is to get purchased. And they get lost and they need to get back to their aisle before the Fourth of July starts. I don’t want to give away too much."

What the hell? Sounds like yet another concept formed out of copious amounts of weed smoking, but aren't the best ideas always formed that way? How the hell do you think Pixar thought of an old man sailing away in a house held up by balloons?

A hard-R animated movie is something we seldom see in this day and age unless its based on a TV series like Aqua Teen or South Park, and I'm curious to see what other voice talent the duo will get for the project. More importantly, I want to see what the hell walking, talking animated hot dogs will look like onscreen, and how they'll convincingly carry a film.
Unsure on this one, could a Pixar spoof really work?
