Default Harry Potter Years 1-6

Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere but I asked it in the other thread and it was ignored. How will the movies be packaged in this gift set? I have the year 5 set and I hate it. If they are gonna be in individual cases or even the skinny cases I will think about selling mine and buying the new one.

Everything seems to be identical to the previous release!!! If your going to sell them and double-dip, I would invest and purchase The Ulitimate Editions!!!!

I've seen this giftset and it's the slim packaging like the previous set. As someone who also bought the last set, I hated it. I ended up printing the covers and buying normal cases for Years 1-5 for consistency's sake.

When you say slim packaging, do you mean the slim blu cases? I bought the giftset that was like the diary and all that crap and they all came in different size fold out boxes. I hate it cuz I have no way to put them on my shelves.

Yes, slim cases housed in a flimsy cardboard box.

Indeed I picked up mine today and that is completely accurate, super thin bluray cases housed in a thin cardboard box.

Agreed. Either go with the Ultimate Editions, or just wait for the box set for all 8 movies.

So the 1-6 Box Set for $40 is a no-go...thin cases & flimsy box. Instead buy the UEs....
UE's are only available for the 1st 4 movies, right?
I'd need to purchase separately Order of the... & Half-Blood...
If I could pick up all 4 UEs for $20.46 each shipped I should pull the trigger?

Thanks

I went ahead and placed an order. I already had these (except for #6) on HD DVD, so I didn't want to spend too much just for the convenience of having them on Blu-ray. I guess $6.67 per movie was the sweet spot.

i thought I'd bump this thread to say that Harry Potter Years 1-6 is $36.82 with shipping on Amazon.co.uk. At $6 a film you can't beat that price.
