Default DROID X by Motorola

Droid X came out today and I was wondering does anyone have this yet? I cant decide between Iphone4 or Droid X and need some insight on this phone... Currently with Verizon and i dont want to leave, but the Iphone4 is just so tempting...

How much did it end up costing you? $200. They told me I can get it in a month for $150 which is when I'm eligible for an upgrade.

Navster- Apple is suffering with those "antenna issues"...I'd get the Droidx..it's also got a much larger screen! Also..Verizon network> AT&T.

I'd love an iPhone as well, but the thing just doesn't work out in the woods where I live. For some reason, Verizon gets full service. People go nuts when they come to my house and can't call out.

They're $200 if you're eligible for an upgrade. If ordering online, you can use the promotion code PRMCD10 to get 10% off your total order.

Don't know much about the DroidX but I love my iP4. Strong signal everywhere I have gone, better reception than my 3G for sure, the screen is so sharp, reminds of going from DVD to BluRay, it really is that noticeable. And the speed, the power of this thing is amazing, the battery lasts twice as long as the older iPhones, the multitasking interface is a breeze to use and doesn't kill the battery, the video camera shoots amazingly good video, the still camera on back is fantastic, even the front facing camera takes really good close-up images.
Can't recommend the iPhone 4 enough. Don't believe everything you've read about the antenna issues. I'm not doubting that there is an issue, I have been able to get my signal to drop 2 bars by hoding in the "death grip" but have yet to drop a call.
DroidX from what little I have heard is pretty good if you like the Android OS, I don't dig it so much, especially after 2 years with my iP3G.

Thanks for the input I appreciate it... although i do agree that the Iphone4 might be better its just so hard for me to leave Verizon and goto ATT and the DroidX should be a great alternative... I got to play with the DroidX today and it was crazy... the screen was huge and the internet was superfast... seemed faster than the Iphone4

not mocking you or anything but when i switched from att to verizon it was like going from dvd to bluray coverage wise

So some people say, I've never had a beef with my coverage though and I live in the Pacific Northwest, mountains, woods, you name it I have coverage. Something my Verizon friends can't say up here.

To each their own though, I wouldn't leave a carrier just for a phone either. I happened to get my first iPhone when I didn't own a cell at the time, so it was an easy choice. DroidX sure looks cool, a tad big for my taste though. Hope it runs as good as it looks, cheers.

Thats exactly my thing... I dont want to leave my carrier just for another phone, plus i get 21% off of my bill per month for where i work... something ATT doesnt offer me.... guess ill be patient and wait for a Verizon Iphone, If it ever happens... DroidX here i come

Thanks again for your input

Looks like we underestimated this under dog. She's completely sold out. I can't even get it shipped until the 23rd now. ..Which is fine because I was going to wait a month when I could get it discounted. Supposedly a friend of mine is getting his today so hopefully I can check it out.

I share the Droid X sellout pain. Sprint store had 20 EVO 4Gs as of 3PM yesterday, by 7PM they were out. Missed one by about 5 minutes. The guy was still checking out when I got there.

Let me think about this for a moment.

DROID X has bigger display and an HDMI port with 720P video quality capture.
iPHONE4 has duck tape.

Winner = DROID X
