Default Never Say Never Again (Out Of Print)

Now that the Bond 50 dropped to $99.99 we need NSNA to complete the boxed set. The movie needs to reissued. What say you?

I've been wondering why this film was given the same restoration and re-released as well. There's no way in hell that I'm going to pay $200 to $300 for this film. I wouldn't mind picking it up for my library but nowhere near that price, it just isn't worth it.

I saw quite a few second hand copies on ebay about a month ago for about $60. If you don't want to pay that kind of money, then for now why not just import the Hong Kong version for $26usd plus shipping , which is apparently the same disc as the U.S release

Hey,

I voted no.

I own the current version and the only reason it's worth owning is because of its otherwise unavailibility. Ha ha.

That and Kim Basinger anyways.

Ha ha.

If you are a Bond enthusiast/completist than you want it in your collection. I'd love to have it, but at the price I will just settle for not having it.

This was never issued in the UK, so that's another reason why it's so pricey.

I'm still kicking myself for not getting one back when they were cheap. I wonder why this one went OOP, yet the awful 1967 spoof Casino Royale is still available.

Technically, it is an official Bond film since MGM/Eon now own the rights to the film. Oh, and point of clarification, the high price of Never Say never Again on the secondary market is not because it was never available in the U.K. It's because it's no longer in print. lols

What do you think "official" means in this context? Hint: It does not refer to who owns the rights.

It's not part of the official Bond series of films. Period.

I'm pretty sure YEASASIA.com does deliver to the US. They are having a promotion for 2 US 5.00 certificates and it shows the US as a shipping destination.

Why would anybody vote no? There's no reason why it shouldn't be readily available to anyone who wants it. I already own the previous release, but I'm sure there are many who missed it. Of course they should re-issue it, especially as a tie-in to the Bond 50 set and Skyfall.

Like a lot of us who picked up the Bond 50 set today, I checked to see about picking up NSNA and laughed when I saw the secondary market price.

I think it's a safe bet it will be reissued sometime soon. I'll just have to watch my DVD I bought when I got the 2006 sets until then.

I've always had a special place in my movie-loving heart for it since my mom took me see it on a double feature with Superman III. It's got a video game with a Cylon Raider's voice, for Pete's sake. How awesome is that?

It's a real head scratcher why someone would vote no. Selfish reasons of being able to make a profit if it stays oop?

Canon be damned in my opinion. With Bond 50 in transit to my house, I want to eventually get Casino Royale ('67) and Never Say Never Again for completion sake.
