Check it out. I think this applies to Halloween 6, 7, and 8 whcih are avialable in Canada through Alliance, but there a no extras on that release.
Source = http://www.joblo.com/arrow/index.php?id=26695 Miramax has entered into a domestic distribution agreement with Echo Bridge Entertainment to distribute 251 of its titles on DVD and Blu-ray. Among the films are select titles from the HALLOWEEN, HELLRAISER and CHILDREN OF THE CORN franchises. Echo Bridge President Michael Rosenblatt expressed excitement in adding the titles, adding that "many have tremendous star power and are cult classics." Miramax CEO Mike Lang added that, despite being around for years, many of the films "have never been fully exploited." No word on which films in each series will get the high definition treatment, but it's always good to see a genre movie get the upgrade |

^They look really good on the Alliance release, especially Curse and Resurrection. H20 looks probably as good as it's going to get as well. But my holy grail of my Halloween collection would be The Curse of Michael Myers special edition with extras and the Producer's Cut.
I'm really anxious to get parts 2 though 5 as well. |

Im pretty sure bluray.com as already posted this news bit. Something about? Miramaxs catalog titles being sold which included Halloween Hellraiser and Children of the Corn sequels. On the otherhand it looks like Lionsgate is handling some as well since they are releasing the Scream Trilogy.

Looking forward to these films being released in better condition thatn the crappy Canadian tripple pack. Hopefully, that comment about the films not being "fully exploited" refers to the producer's cut of H6 and the director's cut of H20.

I also have the Alliance release of films 6-8 and have eagerly been anticipating 2-5. I would've sworn we had heard 4 and 5 were in the works a year or so ago but maybe that was just speculation/misinformation. I want the whole series dammit!!!

essentially I would love these via seamless branching.
Halloween: Theatrical & Television Cut Halloween II: Theatrical & Television Cut Halloween 666: Producer's Cut or what would be cool, but most likely will never happen a Halloween "The Night He Came Home" Edition that edits together I & II since it's all the same night anyway....... |
