Upcoming releases

Will the following upcoming blu ray releases Life of Brian and Close Encounters Of The Third Kind be region free or region coded?

Both are being released by Sony so they should be region free as Sony has said they will only region encode where the Blu-ray release is within 12 months of the theatrical release - however I think the smart advice is wait and see. It's possible that there maybe conditions on these releases. I'm region B and want both of those titles. I will be waiting until they have been released before placing my order.

I am eagerly awaitin both of these. I will be picking them up 12:01 am of release day, I'll give you a heads up if nothing is found out by then.

I'll pre-order both of them. Live in Sweden. Both will most probably be region free as said. Both are Sony releases and Sony have said (and showed in their releases) that they will only region code day-and-date releases in USA. All other releases will be region free.
