New Line Platinum Edition, released on DVD, features 9 additional scenes not included in the original theatrical version.

I'll be adding this one to the collection. I'll import it if it doesn't get a release date for the US...but it should be coming.

I'll go for the US ones if released even though I'm from the UK. Entertainment In Video are not the best releases around

I would hold tight for the u.s. releases. PTA is supervising the transfers and extras on all three of his upcoming blu-rays (Magnolia, Boogie Nights and Punch Drunk Love)..they should be stellar..

Not always. A History of Violence EiV UK release didn't have the horrible DNR that the US release had.

They're now showing this date for both 'Magnolia' and 'Boogie Nights'. Let's hope it happens this time.

Makes sense since the US release of Magnolia is set for January 19th. Boogie Nights hasn't been officially detailed for a US release yet but it can't be far behind.

I've now realised that the quoted UK release date of January 31st can't possibly be correct as it's a Sunday.

It appears to be just a fictitious end-of-month date that's been advised to retailers because they actually don't have a clue when or if they're going to release it.

According to releaselists.com, both Boogie Nights and the director's cut of Magnolia are now scheduled for March 31st 2010. That's not so terrible and I'll wait and see if this does in fact happen before ordering the US release since it doesn't appear to be the director's cut over there.

That would explain the delayed release date as it looks like the UK home video rights for Boogie Nights have FINALLY reverted back to Warner Bros.

When will all the remaining New Line titles switch back to WB? EIV can't lose them rights fast enough if you ask me.

Long live the Warner Bros!!! Oh crap, are they dead!?
