I am considering purchasing a Denon DVD-A1UDCI only because I can pick it up for less than $1,000 and it still has warranty. http://usa.denon.com/us/Product/Page...f-8da0f4de0482 I would be getting rid of my Marantz BD8002. It is in the area of audio where I need your thought... If one's receiver is doing all the work and the player is only streaming, does it really matter the quality of DACs and processing in the player vs another if they are pretty good to begin with? Would changing over from my Marantz to the Denon (which has better DACs and processing) give me any noticeable audio improvement to make the purchase worth it? There definitely was a difference when I changed over from my Marantz SR7002 receiver to Denon's 5308 but would there be by swapping out players? I know this is something that should be tested to see if there is a difference but I can't test it. Once I purchase, I own and the Denon can't be returned if there isn't a noticeable difference. So, I am asking an experts opinion before doing anything. . |
