Bollywood blu ray announced that rumours are that BBB will be out day and date on blu ray and dvd, i am excited, this movie is a visual splendour with all the flowers, colors of shaadi mandaps rituals ceremonies in all their picturesque glory , the glittery shaadi saris and sherwanis , and the wonderful catchy songs are picturized amazingly with rainbow like colors and glory and pomp .

Also this movie is very special to me because me and my fiancee met at the JW Mariott in juhu for the first time the day anushaka sharma and ranbir singh were filming at the hotel and we got to meet them watch the filming, and i met her for the first time and now were engaged, so this movie is very special to me.

Please yash raj get it out before valentines do so i can give it to her along with a special gift. Perfect timing

Wow, that's wonderful karim! Also, congratulations on your engagement! I absolutely LOVED this movie and love Anushka Sharma!!!

She's Punajbi and I'm Punjabi too!

The movie was fantastic, very vibrant and full of life. The songs were the best part and Anushka truly brought life to them along with the excellent voices of the singers and background beats. One of the best Bollywood films of 2010!

Yes, me and seema , shes gujrati met at the lobby of JW mrarriott in juhu she was with her brother, and i fell in love the minute i saw her, she was introduced to me thru my aunt.

The concierge told us " sahib shooting chalrahahe, lounge Meh", so me as seema went poolside and were fortunate to see the shooting in the lounge, and were invited into the shooting due to my friendshiip with security at jw. The director was taking a break and he let us hang on set for 10 minutes. . Total magical moment, seema pink sari, anushka mam in red sari, they were shooting the scene where the amir father wanted the now estranged pair to rejoin shaadi mubarak, and do his daughters wedding. We got to meet anushka mam and ranbir, and i will never forget, the warmth the entire crew gave us. This helped create a really magical moment ,and i ended up getting engaged in surat a week later, after getting to know her, and we get married in april . Shes as magical as blu ray is lol

Anushka is definitely Punjabi. Along with Ranbir and a reasonable chunk of the rest of the crew lol. I hope to see her while she shoots a new movie soon!

I don't mean to disappoint you, because it honestly does not matter what she is, but she has subtly revealed in some interviews that she is indeed not Punjabi. The link you provided does not seem to be from a credible or trustworthy source.

If this Blu-ray really does release by the end of January as everyone is hoping for, I will be very happy to see a Hindi movie on Blu-ray before I watch it on DVD, for the first time

I don't know why the Bollywood market (which is so huge) cannot release a Blu-ray of a movie on the same day it releases the DVD, when Tollywood (Telugu) has released several Blu-rays on the day of DVD release or even earlier than the DVD release.

I will be "hoping" along with you guys that it gets released on or before the date we are expecting it to right now.

The movie of the decade, Robot, Endhiran, should have been released day and date with dvd, it makes sense the most expensive hindi/south movie ever made, the best cinematography ever and technical wizadry ever, would have broken every barrier, if dvd and blue ray released day and date, what a wasted opportunity, this movie is pure visual treat.

Woohoo! Thanks for the great news. I hope I can get my hands on the BD this weekend.

Kudos for Yash Raj to finally do a simultaneous release. I hope other distributors follow this approach.

I don't think its a big deal that the BD package doesnt include a copy of the DVD. Not even all Hollywood releases have that.

On a side note - are the BDs for Yash Raj Films cheaper in India than in the US? I have a relative visiting from India soon and I had given them a list of T-Series, Moserbaer, Reliance, and Disney titles that I want. I'm wondering if its economical to also request some of the good YRF releases from there.
