Default Favorite Ryan Gosling Film?

Like I said in my thread on Half Nelson, I've been on a big Ryan Gosling kick lately and been loving pretty much all of his recent movies. There's still a few I need to see, but I want to get everyone's opinion on Gosling and what your favorite film of his is. I have a feeling I know a what a lot of people's answers will be, but if you could, don't just vote and give a top 5 of your favorites and possibly an explanation as to why they are your favorites/what makes them stand out to you. Thanks.

Edit- Looks like he's got some more good movies on the way in 2012 too. The Gangster Squad and The Place Beyond The Pines.

Great top 3. Would probably be my top 3 as well. Still have yet to see The Ides of March which pisses me off, but I'll see it soon. Half Nelson almost beat out Drive for me when I saw it a couple nights ago. Such a great performance.

Oddly enough his favourite movie of mine is in a Genre I hate, RomComs. Crazy Stupid Love

I just don't like many of his movies even though I think He is a really good actor.

Fracture
Blue Valentine

Those would be my top three right now.

I'm really looking forward to Gangster Squad.

Thumbs down Only Seen 5 / 14

I've only seen five out of his 14 films so far and it wouldn't seem fair to vote now
when there's so many I haven't seen. But, as far as what I HAVE seen, I
would rank them as follows...

1. Drive
2. Crazy Stupid Love
3. Stay
4. Fracture
5. The Ides of March

Still would like to see... The United States of Leland, The Notebook, Half Nelson,
Lars and the Real Girl, All Good Things, and Blue Valentine (especially).

Yeah, I thought about adding it, but chances are if you enjoyed it, it wasn't because of Gosling. I was more going for his lead/supporting actor roles.

Yeah, I've only seen five as well. Sucks that most of the others are on DVD only and nobody really has access to them unless you want to buy them for $10 on amazon, lol.

If you or anyone else has Netflix, I'd really recommend Half Nelson. Superb film.

I have, but have not yet seen, Half Nelson, All Good Things and The Notebook. And I recall not caring too much for Fracture and Stay when I saw them theatrically. He's great in the Believer and Blue Valentine, but I prefer the films above as a whole.

Not surprised nobody voted for All Good Things. That movie sucked.

I couldn't even finish it.

I voted for The Notebook with Drive being second. I have Lars and the Real Girl on my DVR and Half Nelson in my Netflix queue to watch, but other than those, I have seen most of his movies.

The Notebook is probably my favourite romance of all-time and I doubt that will change. Drive and Crazy, Stupid, Love are probably about equal to me, not sure which one I like more.
