What are your plans for the Super Bowl with your HT? - Blu-ray Forum

I thought I'd start a fun thread to find out from our members what their plans are for the Super Bowl and their HT's.

Personally, with it being on a Sunday night and 2 little kids at home, I will be home bound with my family watching the game with them on our 92" screen and projector. But I do have a nice spread planned regardless. During the game, I will have wings, potato salad, chips, sandwiches, appetizers and of course, beer.

To make it clear, nothing is essentially none of the above, which is where I voted.

Please vote accordingly, and add any additional details about your plans if you like.

I'm in the same boat here, staying home with the family, if I get a chance to turn it on for a couple of minutes I will, first time in a long time I'm not at a party, but I dropped out of my fantasy league this season so I'm not welcome at the party this year

And if I do watch it will be on the 92" screen too!

Watching the big game on my Sony Projection TV. No speakers on that TV anymore, but I will get HD picture.

If not, I'll go somewhere else since I'm off Monday.

I am going to watch the game at the house.

I wish the NFL would up the time on the game so that it doesn't end past my kids bedtime. I have tried to have a party, but most people of my age have kids that have to get in bed (or close to it) by halftime.

It is the Superbowl!!! It defines primetime for that Sunday.

The wife and I are going to have a few people over and take full advantage of our 60 inch Pioneer Elite and B&W speakers.

Just got all the snacks at the store today which includes : Velveeta and Hot Rotel dip, Cheese filled little smokies, which I make my famous bbq sauce in a mini crock pot and the standard chips & onion dip. Oh yea and plenty of ice cold beer and wine. I hope it is a great game and the ads are decent.

Same here! But it's me and my girlfriend.

Last year, I threw a HUGE party at the house. But I spent all my time grilling and not watching! So none of that this year! Less mess, less money spent, more time watching FOOTBAWL

Just got back from the grocery store - they had a sale on Black Angus T-Bone steaks 4.57 a pound and I bought 16 of them!!!! I had originally planned for Ribeye, but my wife told me about this deal and I couldn't beat it! We will also have citrus wings, honey barbeque wings, veggie tray, salad, Cheese sticks, and dessert! All of this on a 106 inch screen
