United Kingdom Amadeus. UK Blu-Ray

Anyone own this? i noticed its a directors cut.
is it a good blu ray transfer
and is it most importantly a good movie?

I'm also curious to know how this compares with the USA edition, I'm hoping it is of the same quality? Couldn't find any reviews or comparison as yet.

The American Blu-ray contains a lot of European subs, so I'm positive it's the same disc. And no, I wouldn't recommend it. The picture is DNR'ed quite a bit, and more importantly, it's only the "Director's Cut", while the theatrical cut is much superior.

I bought it about three weeks ago. Enjoyed the film seemed like it was on forever and it seemed to be a little more hollywood than fact, but i did enjoy it would recommend it especially when its in a two for 20 deal in hmv, picture quality looked good nothing that bothered my viewing of it
