Default movie in most collections

Is there a way to see what titles are in the most members collections here at Blu-ray.com?

I know on the page of each title it will read, in "XXX collections"...etc. But is there a way Blu-ray.com can display, in order, the titles in the most collections to the least?

Click the "Community" link at the top of the page, then click "Statistics" on the left hand menu. That's a good starting point.

Technically Avatar is in the Top 20.

The first release: 4509
The collector's edition: 2520

Total: 7029

That puts it at #5 between Transformers and Star Trek.

Great point. When there's multiple versions released of a title, it may seem that said title is not as popular. It spreads itself too thin.

Kinda like Johnny Depp being nominated for two "Best actor is a comedy/musical" at the Golden Globes this year:

Johnny Depp – Alice in Wonderland
Johnny Depp – The Tourist

As with the multiple releases of Avatar dispersing its popularity, I'm skeptic that a $90 set is going to leap to #1 when many users will probably opt for just the old trilogy, etc. Perhaps after Christmas the $90 set would have substantially better popularity numbers.

$90 isn't cheap but hey, it's Star Wars. The franchise practically prints money. I say it's in the Top 5 within 6 months of release.

Question?- Will it count as one set or 6 different films? That could be a 6 line block on the Top 20 list.

I would have taken a good guess that it would be without looking. Great flick!

I've only got 6 from the top-20 list...

Star Trek
Up
I am Legend
District 9
Blade Runner
Fight Club

I do have more on DVD though...

The Departed
Ratatouille
Cars
Inglourious Basterds
Pirates of the Caribbean

Sorry to say, I will never own (currently) 1-4... Actually, I take that back, I am not sorry to say that.
