Just got this (wonderful cover!), which was released about two months ago... the back cover reads "region B", but I tested the disc on my region free player and can confirm this is AB for sure. Let me say that PQ is quite sweet, definitely from an HD source. I found black levels, detail and depth very satisfying. However, the transfer here and there features noise instead of pure grain, but this is probably inherent to the source. AQ is also quite good (let's not forget that this Komeda score is one of the greatest ever).
Sadly, the disc features Italian subtitles only (plus a useless Italian dub), so... Recommended, if you can do without English subtitles.
