Default Philips hts7540

What do you guys think of this system? Is it worth getting?

Supported formats :

DVD-Video, CD-R/CD-RW, DVD+R/+RW, DVD-R/-RW, Video CD/SVCD, BD Video, BD-R/RE 2.0, USB

It says, that it supports all these files aswell like DivX Ultra, MPEG1, MPEG2, WMV, AVCHD, avi, MKV, MPEG4, XviD, MP3, WMA, JPEG.

A big plus for me is that is supports MKV files. So would this mean I could run mkv files off a usb disk?

Would really like some opinions.

Thanks.

54 people looked and didn’t comment. That may say something eh?
I personally wouldn’t buy Philips or even look into one. They haven’t been a good brand for quite a while. Maybe they’ve improved, but with their track record, some may not want to take a chance.
I REALLY don’t mean to rain on your parade.
