This is going to be a small series where I (and you if you'd like!) make our own scheduals for the networks for this fall. You can't cancel something that wasn't renewed and you can't bring anything that's dead back. You have to stick with what ya got.
Monday: 8-10pm Dancing With the Stars 10-11pm Castle why? This is ABC's solid night. It needs to stay consistent. Tuesday: 8-8:30pm The Middle 8:30-9pm Cougar Town 9-10pm DWTS results 10-11pm Body of Proof why? Putting two of ABC's vets in the Tuesday comedy block instead of two new shows sets the block up to have an actual chance instea of being lambs to slaughter. It's a risk, but it should be taken. The middle hasn't grown in two years and Cougar Town needs solid schedualing. BoP is the only thing that has worked in that spot in years. Wednsday: 8-8:30pm Last Man Standing 8:30-9pm Happy Endings 9-9:30 Modern Family 9:30-10 Apt. 23 10-11pm Good Christian Belles Why? With The Middle and Cougar Town moved, Tim Allen is the only guy I trust to start off this night. Modern family never, and shouldn't, move. It's also the best lead-in for Apt. 23. And Good Christian Belles may work on this night. Thursday: 8-9pm Greys Anatomy 9-10pm Scandal 10-11pm Private Practice Why? Greys needs to move. ABC needs new hits, not dying ones that they sacrifice new shows to keep alive. It'll be an all Shawnda night, but Greys may help Scandal and it's the only show that can survive at 8pm. Friday: 8-9pm Extreme Makeover: Home Edition 9-11pm Whatever other reality the network has Why? Abc has no shows that can survive this night in my opinion. Sunday: 8-9pm Desperate Housewives 9-10pm Charlies Angels 10-11pm Once Upon a Time why? Desperate is dying, and honestly shouldn't have been renewed. It's expensive and gets mid twos. It's time for a new hit, and if Charlies is to succeed, this is the spot. Pan Am needs to be mid season. Two sixties dramas in one weeks on different networks is to much. So, what do you guys think? |
