So Monoprice is charging forward with a whole new inventory of screens now, not just motorized. The most intriguing idea they have is this, the "Multi-Format" which looks to have shades you can pull from the top and bottom to mask for 2:35 content.
http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...#specification Pretty ingenious idea if you ask me, I had planned on using some masking solution on a 120" 16:9 screen for 2:35 content but if this works and doesn't come off as gimmicky and make the screen look cheap I might just downgrade on size to the 106" and enjoy the benefits of the built-in masking. |
